Final Construction Phase To Widen Campbell Boulevard
After extensive coordination with BG&E, we are now ready to complete the improvements to Campbell Boulevard at the I-95 overpass. Traffic patterns will change when the final phase of construction, which is part of the I-95 Express Toll Lanes SM project, along Campbell Boulevard begins in June 2016. Here is what you can expect:
DURING CONSTRUCTION (SPRING-SUMMER 2016)
• Temporary closings of single lanes east or westbound during daytime
hours (Monday–Friday 6 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday 6 a.m.–3 p.m. if needed)
• The first entrance into Nottingham Square east of I-95 will be closed for left
turning vehicles during daytime eastbound lane closures
• Reduced lane widths
• Temporary walkway along work zone on westbound side
AFTER CONSTRUCTION (FALL 2016)
• Campbell Boulevard will be widened to five lanes, two lanes in each
direction and a new center left-turn lane into Nottingham Square
• New sidewalk on eastbound side
